Journal Writing - What are some questions and topics you would suggest to a 23 year old?

My daughter is 23 but she's a young 23. Maturity wise she's probably still around 17. Knows she's an adult that can make her own choices but prefers to do the least amount of adulting possible. Recently she came across a journal I had her start when her biological mom moved back up here for a brief time and she was reading the entries. She took it up on herself to do another entry to "update her feelings entry" if you will. She wants to start writing in her journal again, a few times a week, but said she doesn't know what topics to write about and when she sits down with her book, her mind goes blank. I'm planning on writing a bunch of topics down and putting them in a jar that way she can just pick a random one out but for those of you that write in journals or diaries, can you comment some topics and questions you think would be good ones to add to her journal jar? Thank you all in advance!!

I feel that many times it is our fault that our children donĀ“r grow up. Why should YOU write the topics? Tell her to write topics and place them in a jar. And use her own hands to take out one of them. If she wants inspiration, she can read a book, not have her mom do her work.

truthfully, i think you should just let her keep thinking by herself for a while, within a week or two she will get the inspiration

I like to write about one way I have found to be my anxiety and depression blues by remembering the comedy material from classic comedians like The Three Stooges like the slapstick comedy lines that the boys did like when one of them lay down on the ground on his back and either Curly or Larry would tell Moe "Speak to me. Utter a few syllables or utter a few adjectives." And look at sports players pretending them to play the role of the Stooges laying down on the floor after a blow to the head part.
