Hi there Lotters ! Did you see the picture I uploaded? I was so surprised when I opened the pack when Im preparing to cook lunch this day. Mom just went grocery shopping last Saturday and I didnt know she bought bacon this big. It is placed on a chopping board because Im just cooking half of it . I read the packaging and it really says 1kg hahaha I was amazed of how big it is almost the same size with the chopping board. Truly mom's are gifted when it comes to decision making... My question now is, do you buy amazing finds in groceries? Like the products that looked different but is edible?

Bacon is much cheaper if it is bought in bulk. At least it is here. I divide it up and freeze some. I put baking paper between the slices.

I generally only ever buy it when I can get it under $4 a pound. I have three 1 pound packages in the freezer as we speak. I don't cook it that often, though, because to me it's rather expensive. Otherwise I would eat much more of it.
