When Your iPhone Becomes a Bedmate

August 20, 2024 7:33am CST
Ever had that moment when you realize you’ve literally slept on your worries? Last night, my iPhone decided to play a game of hide-and-seek while I slept. As I turned over, it sneaked its way under my back, where it spent who-knows-how-long supporting my full weight. It's still ticking, but I can’t help but wonder if this little sleepover might come back to haunt me soon.

Phones are like our constant sidekicks, so even the best advice about keeping them at a distance just doesn’t seem to stick kind of like trying to tell a kid not to eat candy!

I don't take my phone to bed with me. Even my tablet sits on a table at the side (when I'm not using it.)

It might be time to break the habit of keeping my phone too close at night. But let's be honest, when that alarm blares in the morning, having it within arm's reach feels like a lifesaver!

@runningriz You could put it on your bedside table, but I think cuddling it at night is maybe going a step too far!
