I couldn't confirm my appointment

I got a text from my healtcare asking me to confirm my appointment on the 23rd. I was supposed to text back or risk having my appointment canceled. They've sent these before, so it was nothing new. But, this time when I sent my confirmation, I got the message you see above. That text number doesn't accept messages!! Then why tell me to do that?? I confirmed over the phone, so all is well, but it wasn't as smooth as it usually is and I was on hold for a while before I could confirm. I suspect I wasn't the only one unable to confirm by text. They'll need to fix that. If you're curious, I'm having an MRI done to see if there is a physical reason for the asymmetric hearing my testing showed. Assuming there isn't, I'll then be able to get hearing aids.

That sometimes happens. Although I don't typically get errors. Just a "thank you"

@jerzgirl I've had that happened before. Usually if a system gets overloaded.

They do need to fix that if they want patients to text confirm appointments. Otherwise, they need to hire someone who would only take calls pertaining to confirming appointments to make it easier for their patients.

Yeah. Especially when they say not answering will cause them to cancel the appointment.

My insurance scheduled my ride pickup for an hour later than my appointment. I didn't realize it until today. Now I have to wait until Oct 2 unless I can find another place who can to the same treating.
