"A future isn't given to you but something you must take for yourself" - Pod 043 from Nier Automata. One of my favorite lines in the game, and I am happy I was able to finish it in PS4 several times.
This is something that resonates me in life lately. Some are a firm believer of "waiting for the right time and for the right opportunity". However, I normally strike when the iron is hot. I always take chances. If there's a chance to learn, I take it any day. If there's a chance to build connection with other people, I will strike the first conversation. I am an ambivert person by nature but this should not hinders me to rapport when needed or to make somebody else's day brighter. If there's an opportunity to inspire others, I normally give that as part of my mantra. If there's an opportunity to speak up, I'd check my odds before doing so.
Now the reason of this post is to check other mylotters their thoughts about the saying "Good things comes to those who wait" and those who believes that "Opportunity knocks only once". Do you think one or the other is applicable in your life or in one recent scenario that you have encountered? I wanted to know your thoughts this midweek. Happy MyLotting, fam!
