Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 61 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. That is too cold for August! I had to trade my shorts for sweatpants. The high for today is 79. I woke up a bit after 7 am. I had this feeling of dread that I had to get up and go to work so it was a relief to finally realize that it is still summer break and I didn't have to go. It is coming though. No big plans for the day. I have some kitchen projects. I will probably go over to the pool though I'm sure it will be very cold. It has been cold for the past week and I'm sure last night's temperature didn't help. What's everyone else up to today?

For the time being, I am refusing to give in and lose my shorts. Nope. Not happening.

I forgot to close the windows last night so it is cold in here! I'm actually wrapped in a blanket right now.

@porwest My laptop says that it is 69 degrees now but it feels much colder than that

I'm sorry it's cooler than you like. I expected to hear you're headed back to school soon. I hope the pool wasn't too cold. Pool, hospital, Canasta. That's been my day.

This is weird weather, indeed. The last several nights here have been down in the 40's, and that is really odd for August. I got cold last night, but I am not turning on the heat in August! It's supposed to be 90's++ in a few days, so it will be back to lots of heat and humidity. Ugh.

It was warm and sunny day . I need the air cooler in night to get good sleep . I had few calls to make . There are items in my to do list which are to be completed by mid of next week. So busy with some of those items. As usual traffic was not great and nothing great in television or online to watch or listen . Nothing exciting and well fighting or struggling each day to make a difference. Glad to see you are having vaccation . A good releaxation is great for body and mind.

It's another miserable day here. We're going camping on Monday. It's hardly camping when you have a caravan but whatever.
