It's Cool To Be Cool

The temps last nite was a cool 70 degrees. Had to turn the fan off. Was actually cold. Was about to turn the heater on for a few minutes. Tonite it's going to be in the 60's. What a relief. Phoenix is finally averaging 103 instead of 110 and it will be a cool 82 and even 78 by midnight. As they say Better days are coming.

Surprise cool weather in August is like a cool 70 in 0 degrees in winter. Always a welcomed surprise when mother nature gives us a break.

I know what you mean since the heat in Phoenix is like an oven since the news does report the heat wave around the nation on television.

@JimmyDeen That is true since after my area lost power for about one month due to Hurricane Laura in 2020, the heat inside the home without any air conditioning was like an oven.

We had 2 weeks of warm and sunny days. The temperature is high at times and after few month gap, started using my air conditioner. Without the air conditioner , it is tough to sleep in night. I manage to stay indoors during the afternoon, so that one way to be away from the heat. Would love to have some lower degrees here and good rain so that the water levels are good upto next spring. It had been a difficult summer and terrible too . Glad to hear about Phoenix. Hopefully as you mentioned , better days might be coming.
