Growing Fast

In this picture you can just see the wing feathers coming in on the one that is turned sideways. Because of that the tote is covered. They are still small enough not to make a big mess in it.
I did manage not to go to Kenton today. I hit the new store in New Bloomington and then went to Family Dollar in LaRue. Between the 2 I got everything except my potatoes. I can try to get some of those tomorrow at the auction. I do have fries and tator tots in the freezer. I did go back to the gas station in New Bloomington and get ice cream as Family Dollar is more expensive on that because they carry the fancy stuff.
I also wasn't able to get zip ties so I am going to order those from Amazon. Because of that I didn't get started covering the run. I have time. It won't take long for them to get here.
I have my peppers and eggplants picked for tomorrow. In the morning I will pick my grapes that are ready. Hopefully next Friday I have a good payday.

Sounds like another busy day for our friend Eva. The chicks are really growing, I know they get feathers so fast, they are only little fluffballs for about 2 minutes!
I should have planted eggplant this year, but I didn't. If I were there, I would have to buy some of yours from the auction! My friend Tammy came over with tons of grapes, tomatoes, and bell peppers. So sometime tomorrow, I will chop some of the peppers and freeze them like I usually do when I have extras. She really had some beautiful peppers, yellow, orange, red, and green. I had some tomatoes to eat, but she really loaded me up. My little garden is behind this year, I replanted some stuff twice due to the flooding rains we had. Have fun at your auction!

Not to busy, especially after I got home.
I have never ate eggplant. I just got these plants in a mixed flat of plants I bought. Our garden did ok this year

They are so adorable, Cannot help it I think what do such little chicks think about and then I guess it is just their comfort, feeling safe, and food
