Unseen Hands

The hands terrified me. The castle tower was so high up and they tried to push me out. My heart raced and I cried and shook. I woke with a start, glad that it was only a dream.
I found myself on the edge of the bed. If I moved an inch, I would hurtle over. I must not fall, my bones are brittle. Other unseen hands kept me from falling. I felt them.
I settled back into the middle of the bed and slept without more dreams. I thanked God for keeping me safe through the night.
Do you have weird dreams? Do you ever wake up glad that it was only a dream? Are some of your dreams a warning about something?

I constantly have weird, stressful dreams; and I'm always so glad to wake up and find out that they're not real. I've never had a warning dream. Have a good day.

@akalinus I usually couldn't remember a thing but there's one dream I can't forget. I dreamed about my ex-boyfriend (he's now my husband) as a murderer, and I've seen how he did it. A bit scary, yes, since I know how short-tempered he is. But still, I don't think he can do that in reality. He's as good as he can be in managing his temper. I guess it's just how our subconscious goes because of watching too much gore movies.
