She wonders At Night

I thought it was medication, Sister big on that. Its just steroids, but I have noticed. Its slight but its pretty scary. She is like I want to go for a walk but then feels her body, do not want to go for a walk. Dogs love walks no matter what but you see it, I am not enjoying this but becomes lost, and goes oh I love walks, whats this? Walks have been getting longer. Not mad but seeing, something is off. Dogs get dementia too. I noticed it real bad now. She out barking. Would have walked past whole house. This how I know. I am to old and bones hurt to take long way. She walks past easy way. Where you going house right here? I knew that. I always treated her right. She will never bite me. Food for thought for a well lived life. I think she getting dementia. I do not know how to look at it but just what it is.

Dementia in dogs can be hard to deal with, but it’s clear you care for her deeply and are doing your best. Just take it one day at a time and keep giving her the love and care she’s always known.

@annierose Thank you and she will always get that. She saved me on our first walk ever. Would have eaten a fool but because we showed her kindness, she was ready to rumble. He almost ran over me with a jeep. I will never forget that. How spot on she was and would not let it go.

@annierose I was pretty amazed to be honest. I was like I already earned that. She was like kind of, but was more for her best buddy Brooklyn who really saved her because she liked her at dog pound.
