I think that we need now is a blood test to find out how much microplastics we all have in our blood.
I want to know how to get rid of the microplastics. So what can we do?
I am trying not to drink drinks that are packaged in plastic bottles. Yes, no more Coke, or Nestea, instead I buy juice in cartons, and keep my cold water in a metal thermos.
I have a reverse osmosis water filter for the apartment, that is supposed to filter out almost everything.
What have you been doing to stay away from microplastics?

You can't really avoid it altogether. It's in toothpaste and everything!

I think that we as consumers can stop buying plastic bottles, and using plastic products, make sure that if there is an alternative, we should buy paper plates instead of plastic plates, that eventually the market will switch to more sustainable products without so much plastic.
As for toothpaste, Please Please tell me which toothpaste has plastic in it and I will personally lead a boycott against it!

@lifecoachjerusalem We can try, but most drinks are in plastic bottles.
Almost all of them, I think!

@sharonelton So I try not to drink stuff from plastic bottles, and bring my own water from home in my thermos bottle.
