27 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from temporarily sunny and steamy Green Bay, Wisconsin. The rain was good but left us feeling steamy. More rain in a couple of hours. It's been a good day. I'm so thankful to get to the pool every day. I also figured out yesterday that I only need to walk the fitness track for 45 minutes to have all my steps for the day. Right now I'm going on 10K once again. I'll have it easy soon. I need to go around the building and take down some flyers for the talent show in a couple of weeks. New ones were put up. I'm thankful for the work I did on Guns of War. It's reading well. I made a few corrections with it as I move closer to the end of the novel and hope to complete this one this year. I'm thankful for Bible study this morning. It's the first time my friend hosted it in her apartment and it turned out well. I'm thankful I got my suit and towels off the balcony this morning as I rushed out of Bible study and got them moments before the heavens opened up. I'm thankful for a visit with the lady in charge of Social Club this afternoon. She also paid me for the book I sold to her when she was here last. I'll be doing a presentation about being an author in October. This morning as I walked around the oval at the Kroc Center, I worked out the presentation. Now, I only need to put it down on paper. I'm thankful for my time with you today. I have the notifications finished, so I enjoyed finding out how you all are doing in your corner of the world. Okay, that's my day.
