Enfield Connecticut Police Officer Lewis answered an emergency call on Tuesday morning about a red tailed hawk that was involved in an accident by crashing into a window. Officer Lewis managed to take the injured hawk from the scene of the accident to A Place Called Hope Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Center where the veterinarians were able to take care of the injured hawk and the hawk was released into the wild by the animal control officers after the hawk recovered from its injuries in the accident. Officer Lewis would simply say he was doing his duty to serve and protect the persons and animals in his community. Link is wfsb.com/2024/08/27/enf...

I thought that hawks had hawk eyes, but this one might have needed his eyes tested, if he crashed into a window.

That’s awesome! It’s cool to see how some officers go the extra mile, even for our feathered friends.
