29 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from cloudy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 71 F right now and feels like 76 F. It looks like rain, but it's not in the forecast, but I took my suit and towels off the balcony, anyway.
It's been a good day. I got to the pool this morning, and for being there for only two weeks, a couple of people told me they were glad I was back after not being there yesterday. I'm thankful I swam laps for 1 hour. Normally I only do laps for 45 minutes.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. It was a good hour.
I'm thankful I got the laundry done before I left for the pool this morning.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Guns of War. It's coming along well. I should be finished reading through it and making minor edits this weekend. Then I can work toward finishing it.
I'm thankful for the time I could be with you today. I enjoy reading how your day is going in your corner of the world.
I'm thankful for my haircut this afternoon. My friend who has Sammy took me. My hair stylist accidentally shaped it for the opposite side and found it was the best look. I told her most accidents turn out great. My hair actually lays better this way. I don't have the alfalfa thing going on the top of my head.
I'm thankful for the business card for a restaurant my hairdresser had on her counter. We went there for lunch. They offer soups, sandwiches and salads. I had a soup-chili, and a shredded beef sandwich. It was very good.

I'm thankful I took another look at what our accountant sent us. I only need to get someone to fill out the return address part and get the document notarized. He sent a self-addressed envolope with stamp to save us from having to get those. But, I found my husband's little mail truck with our stamps anyway. George was able to tell me, even using a wrong wrd I understood him. He's trying at least and he speaks clearly most of the time. When I don't understand something, I clarify, not correct. Last thing I want to do is make him feel bad about not making sense.

I'm glad your accountant sent a self-addressed stamped envelope for you to return the document after you get it notarized.
I'm glad you found the mail truck with the stamps in it.
I'm glad you don't make him feel bad when you don't understand him.

I am grateful that i was able to complete surveys on Prime Opinion and be paid $5 dollars that will go to my savings and the nicer weather outside today.

Yep! I couldn't get it to lay down until it had grown out a little bit. Now, it lays down fine.
