It's been a while since I last logged into MyLot. With the start of the school year, I've been quite busy. Today, our graduate school classes have officially begun as well. On a brighter note, my fiancé's condition is getting better. He recently consulted a doctor and was advised to get an X-ray. Thankfully, the results came back clear. We're still waiting for updates on our fiancé visa, and I’m hopeful that we'll receive some good news soon. How have you all been? What’s keeping you busy these days?

Great to have the xrays come back good so you have nothing to worry about with that, hope the Visa comes back just as good. Nothing new on this end has been going on with us other than keeping husband's thumb wrapped to get it healed where he can use it, it's healing really good, we have 1 more dr visit & from there we'll see what we have to do to get where he can use it again.

Thanks, Gayle! We’re relieved about the X-rays. Fingers crossed for the visa. Glad to hear your husband’s thumb is healing well. Hopefully, it’ll be back to normal soon!

@2ndchances24 I’m sorry to hear that it won’t be quite the same, but it’s good to know he’ll still be able to use it in time. Healing can be a slow process, but it sounds like you both are handling it with patience and care. Sending positive thoughts your way for his continued recovery.

@annierose you welcome my friend, it won't never be back to normal with how bad he cut it, but he will be able to use it again just no time soon like he use to.

Thanks! Glad he got the X-rays too but I worry because every time he will go to the doctor, he is asked to do it. I wonder if it is safe. Anyway, September 9th will be here before you know it.

@grenery8 It’s really concerning when doctors insist on multiple X-rays like that. It makes you wonder about the long-term effects, especially when it feels excessive. It’s tough to balance trust in medical advice with our own concerns. I totally understand your hesitation. I hope you’re feeling better now and that everything is okay. And yes, sometimes all we can do is try to stay positive and hope for the best. Take care!

@annierose docotr without feelings. when i had pneumonia, had to take x-rays 2-3 times and i had it enough and said to my doctor, i don't want to be radiated 3 times in a month. she just said it was needed, gosh. as you said it, was it safe. i am not so sure. well, yes and no but thank you for trying to cheer me up
