The End of Summer

The transition between summer and fall can be a challenging one. I suppose there is even some mourning for some warm-weather lovers. But, it's not too late for you. The first day of fall, after all, isn't until September 22nd. The autumnal equinox and the first day of fall begin on the same day at 8:44a. EST on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Daylight Savings Time will end at 2a. Local Time(MST) on Sunday, November 3rd. Then we will be getting an extra hour of sleep.
After Labor Day everything shifts. Wardrobes, menus, and even your mindsets. We are powerless against nature and there is no harmony in the universe. As fall sets in we will be getting all manner of storms come rolling in. Thunder and lightning are what I look forward to as cool days. I don't look forward to the snow or extreme weather. It will definitely be an interesting next few months.

September tends to be one of our hottest months. Florida rarely cools down. I look forward to 70 degree days or days in the 60's. Anything lower is rare, but we'll be looking at highs in the 80's until at least november.

I am just hoping that no major hurricanes hit the Lake Charles region between September and the end of hurricane season which is at the end of November.

I hate the shorter days and the extreme cold. We are supposed to get a cold winter this year. Enjoy the holiday today.

@celticeagle every season should start and end at the right time just, we lost some seasons actually they became very mild. like, autumn and winter, especially winter.
