In bengal many people eat lentil and rice. There are different forms of lentils like masoor dal, moong dal, biuli dal, to name a few. Along with that they eat a thing called papad which is required to be heated in food oil. It tastes good.

The English word for papad is papadum or poppadom. Papad is a thin, crispy Indian wafer or flatbread that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It is made from lentil flour dough that is deep-fried or cooked over an open flame until crunchy.
