What Do We Have Here?

Well, well, what have we got here?
You know, I have read several comments in posts from lefties around here wondering how in the world Melania Trump could be within inches of such a horrible man. Of course, it's just banter. She loves him. Otherwise she wouldn't be married to the man.
Nonetheless, on the other hand, here we have the Walz family. Yep, relatives of Tim Walz, Kamala Harris' running mate in the presidential election, all standing for Donald J. Trump.
Interesting.
Even Tim Walz' own brother does not support him saying, "My brother is not the type of character you want making decisions about your future."
More interesting is that part of the reason Walz' brother came out publicly to denounce his brother is because people were figuring he was on Tim Walz' side, and he was tired of the backlash.
"I don't agree with his policies," Jeff Walz said.
Say what you want about Trump, but his family is waving Trump banners and supporting him. Tim Walz can't say the same about his own family apparently.

Yes Melania loves him so much that she refused to move to the White House until her pre-nuptial agreement was re-negotiated. She swats his hand away when he tries to hold hers and turns her cheek when he tries to kiss her. She certainly is busy out there on the campaign trail too. I'm sure he appreciated her support and daily appearances during the Stormy Daniels hush money trial too.
I have to question the intelligence of Walz' family. Like do they really not know how to spell the plural of their last name? What is up with the apostrophe?

@porwest I don't care if she wants to be politically involved or not. That is her choice. We all remember the recording of her talking about "F-ing Christmas decorations" for the White House. It was widely reported that she cried when Trump was declared the winner in 2016. I get it--she isn't into politics or public life.
Just don't try to say that she loves him so much. She loves the cushy life she lives being married to him. Barron is attending NYU. Trump Tower is in NYC. It has been rumored that she will follow her son. It will be interesting to see how much time she spends at MAL now compared to when she is in NYC.

All you have to do is watch some of Trump's recent speeches and interviews. He has pretty much totally lost it. Did you see Trump's response to a direct question about how he would maintain or improve quality child care for working Americans? It was shocking, even to me.

@porwest I had not read about Kamala wanting to "complete" the wall. Can you link an article? I have not seen any evidence that Harris or Walz are cons or frauds. That just sounds like Trump projecting. Where did you get this information?

I would view this as a positive for Walz because it guarantees that he won't bend backwards to enable his brother get huge contracts or any other important position.
What do you think blonds? @xander6464, @TheHorse?

-----I think that's a very good point. I, too, think it's a positive but for another reason. It shows how desperate the Trump campaign is to come up with anything negative about Tim. And how they're unable to do it.

@porwest Just like Robert Kenndy Junior is not exactly admired by his relatives after he ran for POTUS and now endorsed Donald J Trump for POTUS.

You've heard the expression two peas in a pod. Harris picking Walz is just like that. He lies about his military record; she lies about fracking and the border. And both their values have not changed.

@TheHorse You should get a job with MSNBC as you took the words "military record to mean "he was not in the military." Never said that!
Here are the issues relating to Walz's MILITARY RECORD:
1. He lied by claiming he carried weapons of war.
2. He lied about his combat experience- "in his more than two decades of military service – with the Nebraska National Guard from 1981 to 1996 and the Minnesota National Guard from 1996 to 2005 – Walz, 60, never saw combat."
3. He lied about his rank- ‘Retired Command Sergeant Major
***Criticisms of Walz’s portrayal of his service record came after it came to light that he retired in 2004 from the National Guard after learning his unit would deploy to Iraq.
***Fifty Republican members of Congress who are military veterans denounced Democratic vice presidential pick Tim Walz on Wednesday for having lied about his rank in the Army National Guard and retiring before a deployment to Afghanistan to pursue his political aspirations.
***“Repeatedly claiming to be a "Retired Command Sergeant Major when he did not complete the requirements was not honorable.”
Hope this helps

@dgobucks226 I had not realized he had claimed he was in active combat. Please provide a link. My brother was in active combat in Vietnam. It is verifiable by records. If Walz claimed to be in combat in the Middle East, it should be easy to refute his claims by records.

Those "relatives admitted that they had never met Tim nor have they ever even spoken to him. They are just more deluded cult members who happen to be distantly related to the next Vice President.
Trumps family didn't even show up for him when he was in court. Dumb Jr. and Eric did a couple of times but that was it.

@porwest You silly boy. The people who posted this tried to use it to make the point that even those closest to Walz don't like him. Having random people in (is it Nebraska?) who are Trump supporters doesn't mean much. Except perhaps that some people in Nebraska don't follow politics closely. But that's true everywhere.
"It doesn't matter if they met him or not. Has nothing to do with anything. How many candidates have you met? We make judgements based on views and policies. Meeting these people in person is irrelevant to the conversation."

You're funny. I hope you do get some comments. But I think the pay scale has dropped again here.
Melania can't stand Trump and had a baby with him. Look at the child. You can tell that Trump is actually the father.
These people are apparently real. But they're distant cousins to Tim Walz. I bet they've never met him. They may have shared a grandfather. Or even a great-grandfather. I'd have to re-read the article.
I am starting to think you're a closet Harris supporter if this is what you have.
If so, I commend you. But what took so long?

@porwest I heard about Jeff Walz, I think from Megan Kelly through SkyNews Australia.
Tim and Kamala CANNOT be trusted. I agree with Tim Walz's family that love and support Trump.
Oh, by the way, you predicted so amazingly well about our leftist 'friends' ' reactions.

@everwonderwhy Sometimes I wonder if Jesus might forgive all of us, even people like Donald Trump. He cannot help that he grew up with a mean and controlling father and an ill and absent mother. Or that he had cognitive deficits (I suspect severe dyslexia) even in childhood. I am not excusing his behavior. And he does have to answer to the law of the land. I am just musing about "bigger things."

@porwest You speak truth. And more and more people have learned the hard lesson in life in the past 4 years, and ARE deciding to choose to know the truth and act on doing right.

The left are made up of funny people, and I don't mean funny in a ha-ha way. When Walz' family wants nothing to do with the man, that should be enough to make people scratch their heads a bit. But of course, the left doesn't think about what opposing opinions say. They simply want to destroy the people who have opposing opinions.
On the left, having opposing opinions means you will wind up sued, jailed, disbarred, jobless, made into a pariah, or killed.
They are ruthless and vicious people who have no interest whatsoever in democracy or free speech. They simply want power and control. If you step out of line, they are going to let you know that's not okay one way or the other, and in any way they can get away with.
