He surprised me with a call at 1:30 am. I thought he wasn't going to call. He sounds a little bit better and he said that physical therapy went well.
He gave me another list of things he wants, along with his food order for Sunday!
I still haven't received the physical therapy records. I will have to ask for another set if we lose the appeal.

@LindaOHio That just upsets me that they are skipping out on providing him meals. I'm glad he at least has an option of grabbing some snacks.

Sounds like he's moved into the rehab place if he keeps asking for things to make it feel more like home. Good luck with the appeal, those can take forever.

We just got off the phone. He called at 2 am. He was waiting for his phone to charge. He's still coughing quite a bit.

He's still getting breathing treatments. His chest is pretty congested.

That sounds a bit optimistic that hubby is feeling better and that his therapy is going well. Plus that he has an appetite and is already making a list of food for you to bring.
Its mind boggling that you still haven't received those therapy records.

He sleeps during the day and then can't sleep at night. I'm almost always awake so it doesn't bother me.

What, are you running a DoorDash now? 
I would say to ask for a mail trace on the records; however, the sender has to initiate that, and I don’t think the office has the time, energy, or desire to do that.
