A Black Bear In Mississippi

United States
September 6, 2024 5:53am CST
The other day I was watching the news, and it was reported a black bear in Mississippi. The best was shown walking down the street. People were warned to stay inside and not feed it. Now this was in a city. I live in the woods, and thought about it could be some living close to me. Well, that really got me to thinking, I'd better be more watchful and careful. I heard they can unlock cars. Even though the place is not near me, not taking any chances. It's early we have rain, so I'll get started. Enjoy your day,

Wasn't really sure, until I saw that one on the news, now I'm sure they're here.

@RebeccasFarm I hope they don't either. That is a very scary thought.

I imagine the best thing to do is not let any garbage of any kind be outside if there isn't a locking garbage bin, one of those big ones.

Our trash can is way off from our house, way down on the road. Still scary though

I wouldn't want to live so close to where bears could come round

I know people think we have a lot of dangerous animals but I've glad we don't have bears.

Yeah, I think that, but glad you don't have bears either. I hate we do.

Bears will try almost anything to get to human food. Stay alert and have a good weekend.

I have seen them open car doors in videos. It’s really incredible. You’re smart to be extra careful.

If I went out to my car, and a bear was out there, that would be the end of me.

Every once in awhile we have a bear sighting. Bears seem to be out and about more frequently than they used to be

enjoy your day too. you pointed that right; it was in the city, which is dangerous too but in the woods, who will call police that fast.
