Your taste buds,

Did you know that every five years your taste buds change and you like different things. And do not like things you liked years ago. There are things that I have always liked like chocolate. There are things that I used to like but do not like anymore.
That is the way most of us are we like something and years later we do not like what we used to like. One thing I have always liked is chocolate and I will never not like it.
I have always liked sweet and sour things. Sometimes bitter and spicy and hot but not to spicey and hot. More like a mild taste. Sometimes medicine you take makes things taste different or when you get older the things you used to like do not taste good anymore.

I have noticed that I still like spicy foods, but not as spicy as I once did.

I just get tired of eating a particular food sometimes, and so I drop it for a while.
My taste buds have never liked sweet things, and I prefer savoury.
I guess if our mind is strong, our taste does not change too much, as our mind persuades us rather than our taste buds acting on their own.
For example, when I was eight years old, I was given a very strong cup of coffee by a neighbour's kid, playing a prank on me.
It made me sick, and I have never tried coffee again.
So, it is my mind that turned me off coffee, and even though, my taste might have changed since, I will never know, as I will never drink coffee, especially now that I know it has caffeine in it too.

I still crave and make a few of my favourite things. But I have eliminated softdrinks and donuts, carbs and sugary things 7+ years now.

@everwonderwhy The coffee probably has a good taste to it.

@jstory07 I only drink coffee from organic coffee beans. I regularly buy 3kg, medium roasted. And grind the organic coffee beans at home.

My tastes are pretty much the same; but that's very interesting. Hope you're having a good weekend.

There are a few things that I used to like that I don't care for anymore. Can't think of them of course.

I don't think there is anything that I used to like but don't now, except maybe coffee.

Hmm, I still like the same junk food I've always enjoyed. I will admit, over the years I've gotten to like a few more food items I never touched as a kid growing up.
