Middle of the night visitor

I won't bore you all with the details but recently my ex and I have been in more contact. I suspect that whatever relationship he had going on has ended but I don't ever ask him about that stuff.
He showed up here last night at like 1 am. Fine. It was nice to see him. He loved seeing my new bedroom furniture and new baby kitten Claire. Adso came right up onto the bed to see him. That cat hides from everyone. I have no idea why he loves my ex so much. And Charlie got lots of pets because he is the OG.
I will probably need a nap later. 
3 am is not my jam these days.

I can go to about 3AM, but usually because of a rabbit hole I found online.

As long as your heart is safe and with no possibilities of hurt , this looks fine. Visit at 1 am seems little odd . Again , sleeping late a day or two is fine. But do not do that more as it could be detrimental to overall mental health and well being. It is nice of you not to ask your Ex about his previous relationship. If he has to say something about it , he would share the same at a time he is comfortable. Perhaps , he is going through lot of emotions . We never know. Interesting to see the reactions from the cat . And finally , do what you feel is right for you and be happy with the choices you make.
