As one of the good things the technology has is that it tells you about birthdates.
Carlos was very happy with my call. He came to see his children and grandkids who all live here, in Santiago.
I asked him whether he would come to visit me one of these days. And he immediatly said yes. I told him to call me a day prior to his visit so that I could thaw some meat. And to bring his toothbrush as we tend to talk until wee hours.
Tomorrow I´ll go and check if the beds upstairs are made. And I´ll ask him to use my bathroom downstairs to take a shower as I have no idea about the heat of the water upstairs.
I know exactly what he likes to eat. He has a sweet tooth. I remember once , years ago, we went to a Brazilian restaurant and while I ate all the different kinds of salty meat in a buffet, he ran and ate only desserts.
So today 2 I did 2 mayor things. I took an appointment with the dermatologist and I invited my cousin Carlos for a long visit.
Now I am going to stay until past 12. The hour changes and, as usual, I don´t know what I have to do with the clocks. But some gadgets work by themselves so I´ll just wait to see what happens.

I remember the restaurant that offered the Brazilian rodizio, I loved their meats. I also have a sweet tooth, but I enjoyed the salty meat a lot more. Our time will only change at the end of October. Ridiculous! It's dark already in the morning now.
I am sure you will enjoy Carlos' visit.

Those Brazilian restaurants have lots of delicious food. Idon´t like the change of time. I´m sure that there should be a better way.

@marguicha - I hate change of time, they promised that last year it would have been the last change. They cheated.

I am only going to do some chores today. But as I´m retired, all days can be weekends for me.

September is usually a good month here. Spring starts and there are more gettogethers.

It sounds like you’ve had a productive day! It’s great that Carlos is excited about visiting, and it’s thoughtful of you to prepare for his stay and accommodate his preferences. Sounds like you’re in for a fun time catching up with him.
As for the time change, many gadgets do adjust automatically these days, so you might not have to worry too much. Enjoy the rest of your evening, and good luck with the clocks!
