FIRE CLAIMS 21 LIVES OF MINORS IN KENYAN ACADEMY

It is a sad weekend here as we mourn 21 pupils who were killed in a fire tragedy on 5th Sept 2024 night. Over 70 others still nursing serious injuries. The school is called Hillside Endarasha Academy. Cause of fire still unknown. May God protect our learners.

How sad it looks to even read a news like this. I can imagine how the situation might be. Because we have had similar incidents in the past here too! It is really a difficult time for the families. And I'm with them in this tough time! It's really sad to see especially such things happening with pupils. How sad

@SIDIKIMPOLE Was it really due to ignorance? I mean some sort of something happening that wasn't in human control? I'm just assuming things sitting so far away. I didn't read anything about this mishap. Whatever I know, I know it through you only. And if it was because of negligence, then that's not showing a good picture at all.
But kids perishing, especially in fire... Oh God! The pains are unimaginable.

I’m so sorry to hear about the tragic loss and injuries at Hillside Endarasha Academy. Such events are incredibly heartbreaking, and my thoughts are with everyone affected. I hope the cause of the fire is determined soon and that the community finds strength and support during this difficult time.
