A semi truck that was involved in an accident on Thursday August 29 around 3 o'clock in the morning caused traffic on Interstate 5 near Los Angeles California spilled boxes that contained French fries that closed the interstate near Stadium Way for the next eight hours. The California Highway Police (CHP) and clean-up crews managed to clear at least two lanes of the interstate around 11 o'clock in the morning that backed up traffic for several hours. The good news is that no one was injured in the accident but I am sure that the prices of food will increase in the affected area based on supply and demand. Link is upi.com/4541725049610 via @upi

Glad no one was hurt. I wonder if the price of fries will be going up in that area now.

@Deepizzaguy .......So many reasons for food to go up. This is one of them.

Well, at least it wasn’t healthy food like fruits and veggies. I’m glad the driver was okay.

That is true that the French fries are not healthy food that was lost on the highway.

Whoa, that’s a whole lot of French fries on the freeway! It’s great to hear that no one was injured, but eight hours of backed-up traffic must have been a headache for drivers. With all those fries lost, you might be right about a price bump—supply and demand can be wild like that. Hopefully, everyone can catch a break soon!

That is a good question since I am sure that the boxes that had the French fries were thrown away by the cleanup crew.

I wonder if Ronald MacDonald made an appearance there to rescue some of the French fries.
