David Tapley who is a firefighter with the Kennebunk Fire Department in Maine was on vacation with his relatives on Cape Cod when he saw a male swimmer who was swimming on Wellfleet Dyer Pond on Saturday who would have drowned had David not taken action to rescue the swimmer out of the pond and give the victim CPR until first responders from the Wellfleet Fire Department came to take the swimmer who did not have a pulse and was not breathing, managed to come back to his senses. The male swimmer was taken by the first responders to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries in the incident. The Wellfleet Fire Department praised David for his actions of saving the life of a swimmer who would have died in the incident at Cape Cod. I would call David the Guardian Angel of the male swimmer who nearly drowned at the pond in Wellfleet Massachusetts. Link is msn.com/en-us/weather/...

David must have been a strong swimmer too, confident of his own abilities, to pull off a successful rescue like that, and give CPR too. It was a great result that the swimming victim was saved.
