My grandson Diego just called me. Se said he was in Santiago and could he come over to stay for some days? Now, what could I say? I said yes of course. I will have to clean after him, cook for him and he will not even greet me in the morning. He is the grandson with whom I went to Aruba the last time. I have known during my long life that people don´t change. I do think that parents can teach some manners to their children but this was not the situation. My daughter was so afraid that Diego´s father would take the boy away from her that she accepted all he wanted. Besides that Diego has some problems ( I forgot the name in English but although he is intelligent, he will not work at any thing for a long time). The last time I asked about him Tania said that he was fine with some psychologist help. And Daniel told me that Diego spent his days playing with his computer and smoking weed. JEEEZZZ!!! And he is such a beautiful young man! He could do many things if he just wanted to do anything! I just took a second pain pill and went upstairs to see if there were sheets for his bed. But I will not make it and will not let him sleep in the mattress. Even Luna is better trained than him. I will cook more pasta and give him that tonight and tomorrow I am thawing meat for a pot roast. It is not that I don´t love him. But if he had been my child, I would have given him a couple of spankings on his butt at the right time. Now it is too late, I guess. At least from me.
