A military veteran has become the first in the world to have an eye transplant. Doctors are hopeful that he will eventually be able to see out of that eye. He also is the 19th person in the US to receive a face transplant (partial). He lost one arm and part of his face in a high voltage accident.
The grab bar installation guy was a no-show for the 2nd time. I rescheduled for next week.
Our housekeeper picked up a load of groceries for me, did the trash and made me some sandwiches. She couldn't stay; so she will be coming back on Thursday.
Reminder: The Trump/Harris debate is tonight at 9 pm.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, peas and pears
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin
Dinner - Turkey and cheddar sandwich

Hubby and I used to have some Stouffer's SOS on toast with scrambled eggs and jelly.

@LindaOHio See, I have never had to buy SOS. It's too easy to make and a perfect use for certain leftovers.

Wow! I think he deserve all the help in recovering his sight, I hope for his fast and complete recovery in Jesus name, Amen.
I hope the grab bar guy had arrived already. And it is nice to have a steak for lunch, its very expensive here in where I am. God bless.

The grab bar guy did not show; and they have cancelled the installation. They have no one to do the job.

@LindaOHio the cats have it better than me though today both their next 22 lbs of Friskies dry food arrive and their auto order of litter from Chewy, Looks like Christmas early for them, Usually the two orders don't come at once,
