Today, Wednesday. September 11th.
There's so many ways to say today but there's only one way that rings in everyone's ears and hearts every year.
September 11th. The day that will never be forgotten.
My husband and I seem to do this every year. We talk about where we were. How we felt. The chaos that was around us even though we were in Maryland and not New York or Pennsylvania or Washington.
I have the 9/11 memorial playing in the background. The names should be said and remembered. It's something that I watch every year and probably always will.
I won't do a super long post like I usually do. I don't feel like this is the day to do it.
Do you remember where you were that day? How you felt?
We do.

We were taken out of school. Parents were pulling kids left and right. My mom came and got me. We watched everything after the second plane hit at home, trying to get a hold of my uncle

@JordanLader It was a scary time. I live in Canada, so a bit different. I remember seeing some videos of it later and it's just terrible

I was unemployed. I had just gotten back from job service when I saw it on the news. I marathon watched for the rest of the day and night. The stories of the survivors and ones of the families of those that had perished. I was God smacked.
