Adani Group Taking Over Kenyan Airport

Eldoret, Kenya
September 11, 2024 11:08am CST
An Indo-Asian Company by the name Adani Group is allegedly taking over Kenya's Biggest Airport, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). This has sparked uproar from countrywide with many Kenyans failing to understand what exactly is happening. The Airport is one of the most important state owned facilities and it's take-over could mean a downturn of the economy and security. We hope this doesn't happen.

That does sound bad news. I hope your airport remains in the hands of the state.

But now the state is being run by wrong people. They do not have their subjects at heart!

@JudyEv We are very worried, the country might lose all state owned corporations. Kenya Airways (KQ) is already getting more and more private as more of its shares are sold to private investors!

How are they doing this? Are they buying it?

It is so bad. In fact that led to a workers strike at the airport yesterday
