Hello, Radio Rangers! Tonight's Theme is Champagne & Popcorn. Yes, it's leftovers. But they are great leftovers. And most of my staff are wearing usherette uniforms. Do you remember when all theaters had ushers and usherettes? Probably not. But you can still find them in Broadway theaters. And some Off-Broadway theaters. Anyway, you can find them here tonight, too, and that's what counts. So get a bowl of popcorn and a glass of champagne and let one guide you to your seat. To round out the vintage theater atmosphere, Ruby Ember, my favorite Upstairs Cigarette Girl and Chief Executive Vice President In Charge Of Tobacco Vending Affairs, is here, too. In uniform, of course. Just in case you need cigarettes. All we need now is a Feature Attraction. We could watch the debate again. It is entertaining and well worth a repeat viewing but it's only 90 minutes long. So we'd need a Second Added Attraction. And a newsreel and a cartoon. I'm starting to remember why I got out of the movie exhibition business. It's a lot of work. Don't misquote me there. I'm still in the plain old exhibition business but by request only. So, what are we going to watch tonight?
