My wife truly is my biggest fan. I guess it sort of comes with the territory. But it does tickle me to death when she likes what I do. I am a bit of a quirky guy. Always have been, and I guess it was one of the qualities about me that she just finds endearing. She likes my music. Almost all of it. She gives me way more credit for my talents than I would ever give myself. Maybe she is biased? Or just too kind? Either way, it works. Take this song, Sand. It's one of my "weirder" songs, which I guess is saying something since I consider most of my original songs to be weird in one way or another. She was listening to this one again this morning that popped up on her Spotify playlist, that she has on it, and when the final chord was struck she said, "You really need shop that one around. That's a damn good song." I laughed. Of course I did. Sweetie, I love you to the moon and back but I guarantee no major band would cover this.
