My kids are already getting sick this school year.
It's okay, but it's not that bad. One has stepped more like several days into taking medication to get rid of strep, and he is back at school today. He stayed home on Thursday and Friday.
Yesterday I took my youngest to the doctors because his throat has been bothering him, its scratchy and he started to get a little cough. Well, he isn't really sick; he has tonsillitis. So I told him not to talk, to take lots of fluids, and rest his little voice. It's a struggle for a 9-year-old boy not to talk. Hopefully, today, being at school will help lessen his need to run around and try to talk loudly.

I think that one of the stages of life when you are growing up. I remember always being sick, and most of the time my parents will drive me to the hospital at midnight because of the sudden spike of fever... and the doctor will just say its normal for kids to get sick. And it is better to get sick once in awhile because doctors said that it is an indication that our body immune system is fighting back...
