A week ago Sunday, I gave my husband both of the checkbooks for both of our accounts.
Neither of us can find them anywhere.
I think he did something with them, but he does not remember. We very rarely write checks, although we have a local bill that requires that or a money order, and I write checks for offering for church. Everything else is debit card or online payments.
Wish us luck in our search for them.

OH damn, that's not good, were they at the house?? or
did he loose them outside the house like a store or??
cause even though you do M O's & online the point is
you don't need them getting in the wrong hands.

I sure hope so. I know where our check books are, but I haven't had a check written for me since we bought our van three years ago.

Good luck. You could try ordering new ones. That is bound to make them appear.

When I lose track of something here at home, it’s because I got distracted, usually. I retrace my steps and that’s how I find whatever I’ve set down. But over a week has passed for the checkbooks, I know that’s not possible.

Me and my wife also lost things like watch, cards, we cannot find them, but when we are not searching it anymore, we see them elsewhere in our room.

Good luck finding them!!!! I write several checks a month; and the rest are paid online.
