As of last night...or maybe it was Sunday after the games....The Carolina Panthers decided to bench their young quarterback, Bryce Young in favor of the veteran Andy Dalton.
I have heard different opinions on this one.
Some say that it's doing this young man a disservice by just benching him and not letting him play and learn. Others say that you can't keep on like this, he's not learning and it's time he watch and learn.
It's only two weeks into the season and neither game they've played has been very good and both have resulted in losses
At this point I'm pretty sure that either decision he has to learn something.
Maybe Carolina can win a game in week three....maybe.
What would you do in coach's shoes?

Ugh, what a decision. He’s so small! I don’t know if he’s got the size or skills to be successful. It doesn’t help that C.J. stroud looks so impressive. I would have had him on the bench last year for a season of observing. But now that he’s played over a season, I’d keep him in until at least the sixth game. Do you remember how bad Peyton Manning was at first (I don’t, but I’ve heard about it.)

I do. There are very few who can play amazingly well when they first start playing. That's usually why they draft them and bench them for about a year or at least half of the season.

I wouldn't know what to do unless I watched both play. Have a good day.
