Oh look JD Vance's cat-eating story still isn't true

This guy is an absolute disaster and I find it HILARIOUS that he is Trump's VP candidate. Every time he opens up his mouth he alienates more people. Women? Check. Women who aren't mothers? Check? Women who own cats? Check. Legal immigrants? Yes. Retired senior citizens who don't want to be nannies for their grandchildren? Check. Recently JD Vance has been pushing a fake story that LEGAL Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio (his state) are stealing pet cats and dogs from residents and eating them. It is a disgusting lie using a racist trope but what else would you expect from someone who is all-in on MAGA for Trump? Many government officials as well as journalists have said that there is absolutely no evidence that those individuals are eating local pets. Vance's team doubled-down and provided them with copies of a police report from a Springfield woman about her cat being missing for a couple of weeks. A reporter from the Wall Street Journal visited that woman's home and she admitted that she had found the cat locked downstairs in the basement a couple of days earlier. She said she even went around using her phone as a translator to apologize to her neighbors. Funny how the corrections never get as widely reported as the sensational stories. I cannot believe that JD Vance hasn't been replaced on the ticket yet. He is an abysmal candidate. His being on the ticket just reinforces the MAGA racism, misogyny, and ignorance though so we are stuck with him until Nov 5.
