Is money spraying at parties illegal in your country?

In many parts of Africa, spraying money at parties has become a culture that is used to make celebrants happy. Unfortunately, things are changing because governments are beginning to frown on the habit, tagging it criminal because it can deface or even render currencies useless.

I don't know what spraying money is. Why would they do that? The governments are going to a cashless society because they want to track you and control all your activity.

Like at a wedding, people throw money in a friendly way at the bride and groom as gifts.

@akalinus It's what people do at strippers. I guess. I've never been to a night club.

@somewitch Do you mean putting money on their person? I am confused as to what you mean.
