We used to have a member on here who wrote Christian romances and self published, but she recently took a break from the site. I think there might be one more who writes secular romance, so hopefully she’ll see your post. I’m not quite sure she has self published yet though. She may have.

Thank you. Let's hope some self-published authors give their input :-)

I've not done romance but, with a budget of nothing, I promote anything I do on social media. I've got a couple of Facebook pages, including an author page, so I use those. I also use Twitter and LinkedIn. Sometimes I've used Reddit. I'm not very good with that but it has boosted my readership and sales on occasion.
Word of mouth can also be good. If your friends and family know about your book, they might talk about it with others. My big sister will often share my work. Admittedly, she's the only person that does but, if you have better friends than I do , they might help you get the word out.

I'm not a romance writer, but I did self publish a few little poetry books years ago! I mostly sold them to people in Church!
