AI is not free

One of the online teaching sites that I work for is taking down the AI feature. I really didn't use it so much, because I always write my reports based on exactly what the student learned during class. I keep a pencil and paper on my desk and jot down the new words for each student. I feel that for language learning AI is not so helpful. What do you think? Have you used AI in learning a new language?

I'm trying to learn Welsh, but no, I haven't used AI to help me with that.

I have not tried AI for learning a new language. But it could be useful for sure , if used in right way. AI tools such as Chatgpt all are for Generative AI. They excel in generating things and believe learning langauges through AI is possible. However, it is also capable of making mistakes as most AI tool states. I have seen couple of mistakes .However they were related to the information that I seek. For few queries, the answers were incomplete. The issue is not there when articles are generated and topics are suggested. So with caution , yes , you can use the tool but cannot rely on it completely.

Never really thought about it. Clever, I guess.

I find AI troubling because they will keep data!
