Hello dear friends. I am still here, on planet earth, though I haven't been here, on mylot, lately. I have a few minutes before I need to get to the kitchen and cook. We are celebrating Mike's birthday early with his mom this afternoon. His birthday is next week, but next week I will be busy taking a friend to some of her doctor appointments. He loves seafood and wants me to cook him some for his birthday meal so I am. He is helping me with making some homemade breaded shrimp. He has master how to get just the right amount of breading, neither of us like a lot, on it before cooking them in the air fryer. I'll make the rest, clam chowder, baked fish and crab cakes. We are expecting some heavy rains this weekend from the tropical storm heading towards Florida. If you live there, please pay attention the weather closely. We have a pastor friend who moved to Horseshoe Bay about a year and half ago and this is their 3rd time for being in the direct hit of a storm. They just began to have services again in their sanctuary at the beginning of Sept. and now another potential setback for them and their community. Please remember them in your prayers.
