Productive Tuesday

Maybe I'm getting ready for my niece and her friend to visit on Thursday? Maybe I just decided to get up and get stuff done. I rarely wake rested so hey, move it, move it! We never bothered to buy a dryer. I put a load of clothes in the washer and when the machine turned off, I hung clothes on a drying rack in the back porch. Hubby ground wheat into flour. I made applesauce bread from some of the flour and applesauce that needed to be used. Home applesauce has no preservatives so even when stored in the fridge, goes bad after a time. I'm frankly worried about Beau Teak Siamese. I just don't have another two thousand to hand to the Vet for more tooth removal- last time the cure did not cure. Beau has to have his canned soft food wetted down into soup if he going to eat it. He has lost visible weight though he is hungry and gets around just fine. He hugs me every day, crawling under my chin most mornings. Tomorrow morning I do another hour session of physical therapy. Have to get stronger and have to make my legs work and figure how to gain more ability to stand tall. Its almost three months now of physical therapy and I see no end in sight. Each sessions costs twenty dollars for a co-pay. I could quit tomorrow but I need it so on I go. I hope you all continue to be well.

I'm sorry the kitty isn't well. I know vet care can simply be astronomical. It's just so hard sometimes. I have two folding racks that I often use to dry clothes. I do have a dryer, but I like to save some by not always using it, plus the drying racks function just fine out on the patio and the clothes are dry in no time. I miss living where I had a clothesline, but those are not allowed in the area I live in, unfortunately. Keep working on getting stronger, I will cheer you on! Never, ever give up, that's my motto! Hang in there, ok?

Thank you @MarieCoyle. Your cheering me on means a lot. What's with rules about clothes lines? I had an Aunt who lived in Florida sometimes. She thought hanging wet towels on the lanai totally gauche.

@sallypup Well, I live in a small townhouse now--no stairs! And an enclosed garage, I love it here. But we are not allowed to have clotheslines...we do all have a patio area to ourselves, divided with little fences, so I just put my drying racks out there when I want to dry clothes outside. There are a few others that do the same thing, and those racks fold flat in just seconds, so it's not much trouble. I guess your aunt might think I was totally gauche, but...sorry, Auntie! Keep on, keeping on, Lenore! I will keep the cheers coming when I can!

@MarieCoyle My Aunt and Uncle had moolah and acted like the Queen Bee sometimes. No stairs would be nice. I love my silly elderly staircase but its mean to me sometimes.

I hope you get the visitors. Sorry about Beau. I wonder if there is another way to get more calories into him? I would check with the vet on that. Wendy's frosties I think are non dairy and you can get them in vanilla. Maybe something like that would work.

@sallypup You're welcome..Anything thick caloric and easy to eat with limited dairy would probably be helpful.

I am sorry about Beau Teak, I hope that he rallies for you. I tend to hang some of our laundry out in the nice weather, during the cold months some is hung in our laundry room. I do use the dryer on a regular basis though.

I'm sorry Beau Teak is having problems. I know how expensive vet treatments can be. It sounds that life is pretty hard at the moment what with your health problems as well.

@LindaOhio Beau is an ex inmate from a Shelter. Even blue eyed beauties end up in those nasty places. SO....he is about 9 or 10- guesstimate. Thanks for your concern.
