Its raining crazy

Northampton, England

In the UK we have had 48 hours of heavy rain as the same low pressure swirled around the UK like a spinning top before it fell over yesterday and moved away in The Channel and off to France. It was anticyclonic so sucking up warm air from Southern Europe and so warmer moist air and so creating more rain, not unusual. But the rivers quickly broke their banks and there was local flooding in our town of Northampton by the rivers and streams. Every time we have extreme weather here the global warming people jump up and down and say global warming, even though ts been the coolest summer for ten years here. When the weather is normal which is 99% of the time they are quiet. t There are way too many people on earth and population set to double again in 2050. Its doubled in my lifetime. Cities and towns where 90% of us live create heat through concrete and glass etc, what we call the Urban Heat island, up to 10 degrees higher than the countryside. I thought I would google that and see if countryside temperatures have risen much in the last 100-years in the UK. Interestingly they haven't in relative numbers, barely 0.24 degrees. In that case is the city heat whats recording the high average temperatures that global warming people keep telling us about causing the rise and so we should be less alarmed?

Sure, before it brings in destruction. Water is very powerful. I have personally seen a truck full of cement bags being swept away by a flooding river! This year, here in Kenya.

You're always going to have someone trying to blame man and global warming on everything. When nature has it's own natural progression.

They do the same here. They are pretending that this has been the hottest summer recorded... short memory, I write in my agenda the temperature we have every day, rain, sun, fog. In my records this has been one of the shortest summer we had and not too warm. There are too many people, but still religions encourage people to have children, that is insane!

We all need to be on the watch out. Global warming is likely to affect our life and make it more difficult especially for the developing countries
