Happy Thursday Everyone. It's wet and soggy here today. We can certainly use the rain.
I hope and pray that all our myLot friends in the path of hurricane Helene stay safe. From what I've been seeing on the news, it looks like it could really be a bad one.
I've been busy this morning making a grocery list for a delivery tomorrow. Gosh, I hate to sound like I'm always complaining but the prices have increased again.
Last weekend we got a pizza from our local pizza place and they increased their prices. The owner was telling us that he was sorry that he had to charge more but his cost for cheese went up more than $2 per pound. Tell me that's not crazy.
I did something I swore I wasn't going to do. I got sucked into the new season of the Golden Bachelorette. I pretty much gave up on watching the Bachelor/Bachelorette quite awhile ago but I saw commercials for this new season and am now hooked from the first episode.
I do love reality tv (even if it isn't really reality and probably scripted) and I've added this to my addiction to 90 Day Fiancé , Love Is Blind, and Love Island.
I've been working on cleaning out my file cabinet and making of pile of things that can be tossed or shredded. It's gotten to a point where it's so jammed packed i can't put anything else in it. It's only a two drawer file cabinet and I'm surprised at how much stuff I've managed to stuff in there.
My daughter will be taking her lunch break soon so I want to see what's going on here before she comes downstairs to eat.
Hope everyone is having a good day

Prices here have not increased much. The retail sector is not doing well. Shops dare not to increase price. They offer discounts. Many people go to Shenzhen (just north of HK) to buy. Things are much cheaper there.

Helene does sound like a bad one. No doubt they'll show some of the damage on our news. I hope everyone stays safe.

I don’t watch The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, but I was so rooting for The Golden Bachelor to meet someone and for it to work out. I really hope The Golden Bachelorette meets someone for real. I keep thinking about that one Bachelorette who is still married to the guy she picked. I think her name was Tricia, maybe. I’m glad to know they’re still married.
I don’t watch reality TV, but maybe I should start!

Prices here at the local market seem to have come down a bit. Sorry you are paying more. I have been watching The Golden Bachelorette too. I am trying to resist the temptation to check who she picks at the end. I hope she has better luck than Gerry Turner, and it is something they can work out..because most of the people she is dating are not local to her..and have similar srong attachments to their families. She seems to have a good connection with John..we will see.

We have a little filing cabinet like that, and you do have to stay on top of it.
It fills so quickly, and everything in it is confidential and requires shredding.
I hope that one of these rainy days you get that task done.
I know what you mean about the grocery prices.
I changed grocery stores after almost 37 years last month, and I am happy.
We have to look after our bottom line.
