Do you have any sports memorabilia around?

Since today is football day it makes me thinks of sports. We have a few odds and ends around here that are sports related, nothing major though. I just used my Washington Commanders pizza slice storage container though. It is really handy for left over pizza, even comes in a triangle shape. I have stored other leftovers in it as well though from time to time. Sports memorabilia can be very valuable though if you have the right stuff.

Cool!! I bet that is worth some money. We have a signed pic of an Orioles player but not a famous one, and my son has a soccer ball signed by all the DC United players from several years bak.

I have a Steeler's fleece blanket and a lounge pillow. I have a lounge pillow with the Steelers that I keep on my parent's bed. I got the blanket in a grab-bag-type game with my family on Christmas Eve because my cousin's daughter got it and didn't want it as she wanted what somebody else had. So I "stole" it from her and she was free to "steal" what she wanted. am not a Steelers fan but I can always use a warm blanket.
My friend in High School bought me a Mario Lemieux of the Pittsburgh Penguins poster as I fell in love with him when he came to Pittsburgh when I was in the 10 grade. I was a big Penguins fan back then (I know I am showing my age here)

an institution in Pittsburgh. I have the Steelers game on now. I am not especially interested in them, but the game I was watching got preempted by this for some strange reason.

@LovesEverybody I didn't know that either, but sis might. She used to work in a Pittsburgh firm that was nutty for Lemieux.When you went past the office there were Penguins and Lemieux banners everywhere.

@snowy22315 In the morning on Sundays on the radio they have a half-hour talk show about Pittsburgh issues between the music and it was about the Lemieux Foundation today. That is why I thought about him. I am an even bigger fan hearing how giving he is. I knew he was but not to the extent the person told us i missed who the person was in the foundation.

Yes, we have Detroit Lions fan gear here.
My husband has a jersey, lots of t-shirts and hoodies from the NFL.
He has a mini helmet in the case, some L'il Teammates, with 3 guys, all in the original packaging, 2 Lions footballs, and 2 bobble heads, one of the legendary Barry Sanders and the other of Matt Stafford. He is Lion-crazy.

Cute..I guess he likes his collection. We have various things from various teams here.I need something specifically devoted to the Commanders though. Most of what I have says Redskins!
