After that (tomorrow) I'll be on to book 33. A lot of the books I've read this year haven't been super-long novels, but it is called a "Reading Challenge, not a "Read-a-bunch-of-super-long-books" Challenge. Part of this is because I haven't had the money to buy the books I'd like to read (like in the many series I'd like to continue) so I've been grabbing what I can. Anyway, one more book to reach my goal after this.

I’m familiar with reading what you can find. Years ago, I’d just reach for what’s on my mom’s bookshelf, and read that. Sometimes, I hated it (The Great Gatsby -my mom was an English professor), and sometimes I’d find the books to be wonderful.

During the reading challenge, I've read some awful ones.

Good to see you're continuing with your reading efforts. I must admit, there are days when I don't feel like reading at all.

Seems like these days I have to find time to read--I've got so much going on. That may be another good reason for reading the shorter books.
