I can't believe today is the first day of October. My husband has been gone for 8 months.
I was changing email addresses yesterday; and I came across the African Safari Wildlife Park. We went there a couple of years ago and got to hand-feed the giraffes. Now the park offers "Experiences" with giraffes, sloths and CAPYBARAS!!! You can feed lettuce to a capybara; so I want to do the giraffe and capybara experience. Sloths would be good too. It's $25 per person for 1/2 hour with the animals of your choice!
Our housekeeper (my husband's 3rd cousin) couldn't pick up the groceries yesterday; so her mother will pick them up today and then work on my to-do list.
Breakfast - Turkey/cheddar sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken stew, Brussels sprouts, mixed veggies, roll, applesauce
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin
Dinner - PB&J sandwich

I went with chicken tacos yesterday, and took one home for dinner. Plus apples and yogurt!

We have made homemade Mexican food for many years. It’s easy and delicious. With all of the Mexican restaurants available pretty much everywhere, You need to at least try it. Go get chicken fajitas, or a chicken taco, or a chicken taco salad. So good!

@AmbiePam It is on my bucket list to touch a giraffe; but I was afraid if I startled him he'd get spooked and try to pull his head out of the car and possibly injure my husband.

His head was in my husband's lap in the car; and his head was so close I could hear him chewing the carrots I gave him.

Capybaras are so cool. Some people keep them as pets; but they can get quite large!!!
