“Dad, I am a woman now. I will marry Stefano whether you like it or not. Why do you hate him so? I know you think he drinks a little too much. He sometimes gets angry and hurts an enemy. That should be expected from real men who forge out their own destinies.”
“Look at me, Dad. I am different. He would never do anything to hurt me. I know he ran around with many women before but he had never met me. I am a force to be reckoned with. He will stop drinking because his carefree youth is over."
"When we are together forever, he will be faithful to only me.
“Nothing can come between us, including you, Dad. Whatever his faults are now, there is a new power in play, something he has never fully dealt with. My sweet love will fix everything."
"Dad, why are you laughing?”
“Dad?”

Oh, the good old Red Cross Syndrome. Or maybe not, maybe she's right.

@akalinus I noticed there is little information out there, but I couldn't think of any better term.

@somewitch I searched it and it sounds quite accurate in this case.

Is that a story? a pieces of your story that you write?
Its Cool, but I don't think people who are always drunk will change for a girl in reality.
I hope she wakes up soon.

it is a story but based on real life. A lot of women think they can change a man with their sweet love. i thought that long ago but I was wrong. My daughter thought she could do the same but it did not happen. So, it is a story based on real thoughts and feelings. The dad knows the girl's sweet love might keep the boy captivated for a while but he will go on with his wicked ways.

Is it a story or is it a letter written by an imaginary girl to her father??
Whatever it is;but young girls and boys both think exactly the same way. They are confident they can solve all problems that may come in their married life.
Impressive discussion.
