It's currently 84 degrees outside according to my computer thermometer. I went to the office to pay my rent--and holy moley, I could feel the heat. I think I will forego walks today and stay inside. Besides, not being fully awake, I don't want to run into someone literally. I still need to fold and put away the laundry, and unload the dishwasher--but of course, it's getting close to lunchtime, now. Ugh. If I don't get everything done that I want to today, at least I have a bit of an excuse: I didn't sleep last night! (Thermometer said 86 degrees by the time I was done with this post).

Definitely don’t risk the walks in the heat. I’m only out in it because I’m at the doctor, then I have to go to the post office and the bank.

Eeek. It's 92 degrees now. No, I'll stay in for a bit! Sure glad that I got done what I did yesterday!

October first was pleasant all day and then rained after about 11pm, which seems to have cooled things down a bit. Now at 8:30 Oct 2, it's only 13°C/55°F... brrr! but it is sunny and should warm up to 19°/67°

In summer here, I walk very early morning with a temperature like that because when the sun comes out in summer, temp will be much, much more

Walking in the heat is dangerous.
