Prayer can Heal a Broken Heart

This last few months have been a struggle. Starting in June when we were told my sweet daddy had cancer. In July my oldest daughter was in a bad automobile accident, she is lucky to be alive, she is in a wheel chair for now because she had a crushed pelvis and ruptured bladder. She is on the mend, in about another month or so she will be able to start walking again once her pelvis is healed. In August my sweet daddy gained his heavenly wings. I miss him so much. I worry about my sweet mom, praying every day for strength to keep going. I was able to spend the last 2 weeks of his life with him and tho he was bed ridden I was able to spend time with him. He was in ICU at a hospital in a larger town in the state I live in, He was unable to speak so he wrote a note to the nurses that said he wanted to go home. So we came and made arrangements for him to go home. He was told by the hospital he would not make it home, however he lived 2 weeks after he got home. I am thankful for the time I got to spend with him. I am thankful for the life he led before me. He was a man of god, preached about 10,000 sermons over the last 56 years of ministry. I am thankful that for the 14 years or so a lot of his sermons are on DVD and I am able to watch my daddy preaching. I know that with prayer I will get through this stressful time. I know that Prayer can heal a broken heart. The thing that gives me some peach is knowing that he is at peach now and he is no longer in any pain. Rest In Peace My Sweet Daddy.

I see a very strong person that has had her hard knocks in life that knows God is always there to walk with her in times of need. Amen.

Prayers can move mountains. I am glad you could spend two weeks with your daddy at home. God has his reasons... Sending virtual hugs
