A Graeaey Sky

Is it grey or gray? I'll go with French, it's gris.
My favo(u)rite kind of sky when I'm outside, no matter the season.
Not my favo(u)rite when I'm home because it gets very dark.
My skin can still synthesize vitamin D while my eyes don't get hurt by the big bad sun.
Or is it synthesise?
Maybe I could just wear shades, also known as sunglasses, but I don't like wearing too many accessories. I can barely tolerate a watch.
Speaking of which, if you read my previous discussion;
my heart rate this morning was in the 70s, I was very happy to read that.
But tonight, it's in the 90s again. I hope it's normal.
Anyway, what's your favorite kind of sky? Sunsets don't count, we all love them.
I'm going to hit the hay soon and will catch up with your posts tomorrow.
I've been too busy today.

I like partly cloudy skies since it beats getting extreme heat outside.

@somewitch That is true since heavy rain and strong winds can cause electrical blackouts.

@Deepizzaguy Oh, it does! As long as it doesn't rain too heavily, it's nice to have something blocking the heat of the sun up there.

I have always wondered about a lot of words in English. For me it is also gris, in my native Spanish tongue. I like any sort of sky that includes sun. I don´t like clouds nor rain.

@somewitch I don´t like it at all when the sun is hidden.

@marguicha I wrote French but apparently I've been hearing it in my mind with the Spanish pronunciation. The S is silent in French, but I've been like grisss.

I like bright blue sky with big white puffy clouds soft sun. Gray/grey not so much. Also do not like tropical sunny hot.

I like it when the setting sun make it look pink.

@snowy22315 Absolutely, I can feel my pupils dilating when the sky is like that.

@rakski I hope the sky doesn't get offended when you call it gloomy.
Well, I called it old pretty much, that's probably worse.

@TheHorse Since the lesson rooms have no windows, I understand that. It must be a relief to see the sky once you get out of there.

I prefer sunny. But the clouds there are pretty.
My heart is at 79 right now with being up moving around. Nothing hard, just some walking.

@wolfgirl569 When I saw that cute little cloud I couldn't help but take a pic.
That's a great heart rate if you've been moving.

@dya80dya White small clouds make a picturesque sky.
I don't get to see deep blue often due to air pollution, I have to be in the mountains.

I can never decide if I should use grey or gray since technically both are correct spellings.
My absolute favorite kind of sky was during the full solar eclipse earlier this year...having this staring down at me was simply awe-inspiring.

@Scarred4Lyfe What is the correct pronunciation though?
Oh, the devil's eye.
I forgot about that! Even better than a sunset, I think it's the rarity of such an event.
